When It's Cold Out We Explore Art Museums

Thursday, March 23, 2017

I don't really have a lot to say about this day, except it was wonderful! Eric and I explore museums in Raleigh one day over our spring break. These pictures are from the North Carolina Museum of Art. It was freezing outside so we were happy to spend the whole day inside. I am so lucky to have Eric as my adventure partner. After the art museum we headed over to my brother and sister in-law's house and went to a Canes ice hockey game!

He is so cute when he is taking pictures, which fun fact about Eric he loves to take pictures and really wants to get more into photography!

This is my favorite Monet and I saw it in real life!!

This was our favorite painting

"Babe go stand next to the painting and look serious for the blog!"

Currently…

Enjoying - Spring Break! I desperately needed it. School has been driving me crazy recently. I feel like I have no purpose there and I am just going through the motions.

Wearing - My Dad's sweatshirt and warm socks.

Needing - To figure out what the heck I am doing with my life. I have been in a major rut.

Wanting - To be done with my paper that is due after Spring Break, even though I haven't started it yet.

Listening - Modern Family.

Planning - A day trip to Raleigh with Eric to explore all the museums.

Reading - Honestly I haven't read too many books recently, but I have been listening too a ton of audiobooks. My favorites are Big Little Lies and The Couple Next Door.

Trying - To improve my photography and videography.

Baby Steps Towards Adulthood I've Taken This Week

Monday, March 6, 2017

  • I cooked dinner. I mean like actual food. Not ramen, it didn't come out of a box or the freezer, and I didn't cook it in the microwave either.

  • I had my first job interview.

  • I got a Sam's Club membership. Which in my mind is the true measure of adulthood.

  • I started keeping my receipts. That's an adult thing, right?

  • Fixing my tire, without my parents help. Well with just one phone call and there were many others who helped along the way, but I'm still counting it.
